Argentina – Paraguay: IX District Mission Assembly concludes and XI District Chapter moves forward

During three days, from 22 to 24 August, the education network of the District of Argentina-Paraguay concluded its IX District Mission Assembly, while making progress in the celebration of the XI District Chapter.

Both meetings took place in the Casa de Encuentro de La Salle in Villa Warcalde, in Córdoba (Argentina), and brought together Brothers and lay delegates from the different works and institutions of the network, with the participation of the leadership, management and animation teams, as detailed on the website of the District of Argentina-Paraguay.

“The Chapter and the Assembly are held every three years with great coordination. It is a time when we meet to evaluate, enlighten and elaborate new lines and orientations to animate, in the near future, the communities, centres and educational services that we carry out in Argentina and Paraguay”.

As a result of this process, progress is being made towards the drafting of the document which will guide the itinerary of the District of Argentina-Paraguay during the next three years, although the XI District Chapter is now continuing with a period of inter-session until next November.

Celebration of Perpetual Vows

The meetings ended with the celebration of the Perpetual Vows of Brothers Mario Oronales, from the Malvinas Argentinas community, and Miguel Justiniano, from the amor-esperanza community and the Colegio La Salle Argüello.

“We celebrate the realisation of these events, thanking each educator for their time and commitment, hoping that this will be a new step in our institutional improvement at the social and educational service of the community of Argentina and Paraguay”.
