The RELEM MEL Assembly, which was held from 26 February to 1 March 2024, was an opportunity for the participants to reflect on the future of the Region in the service of all Lasallian educational works.
The 47 delegates from all the Districts of RELEM reflected together on a number of questions of vital importance: What shared/common vision of RELEM is needed at this stage in history? How can this vision be achieved? What mindsets/approaches are needed? What are we committing to TOGETHER in RELEM? What structures do we need and why are we committing to RELEM?
Group work and plenary meetings leading to the adoption by vote of concrete lines of action enabled us to move forward together, and to clearly outline the vision of our Region and its course of action.
The week was also an opportunity to forge links and exchange ideas on an informal basis during the confraternity moments organised by the organising team. The closing ceremony was followed by a Eucharistic celebration in the chapel of the Generalate.
A big congratulations to all the participants for their commitment to this wonderful RELEM MEL Assembly.
