Brother Armin Luistro, Superior General of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, has appointed three Brothers as members of the International Team for Vocations who will work closely with the Institute’s Office of Vocations and Volunteer Ministry. Their service will last until 31 August 2026.
Br. Fady Salama, FSC
Born in Alexandria (Egypt), Br Fady Salama entered the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 2016. He completed his Novitiate and Scholasticate in the Philippines, where he studied Theology. He was then sent on mission to Lebanon for two years, during which time he enriched his academic formation with studies in Pedagogy.
Brother Fady is currently sharing his educational ministry at the service of young people in Egypt. He teaches both at Saint Joseph School – Khoronfish and Saint Jean-Baptiste de La Salle School – Bab el Louk in Cairo. At the same time, he is involved in Pastoral Ministry in Egypt. Last July he took his perpetual vows.
Br. Jeanoel G. Endaya, FSC
Brother of the Christian Schools in 2018. Since then, he has taken on various roleswithin the educational ministry, starting as a Christian Living Education teacher for junior high school in 2020. He has also served as an Educational Technology Officer, Search-in Moderator and Community Vocations Director for the De La Salle Brothers in Ozamiz (La Salle University-Ozamiz).
Br Jeaonel, affectionaly known as Br Jeano, has been significantly involved in the Pastoral Ministry of Vocations in the Lasallian East Asia District (LEAD). In 2021 and 2022 he was part of the National Team for Vocations Subsequently, in May 2023, he was appointed as the National Vocations Director for the De La Salle Brothers of the Philippines. Br. Jeano also serves as Assistant District Secretary and Chair of the Commission on Youth and Vocations of the Lasallian District of East Asia.
Br. Eduardo Rivera, FSC
Br. Eduardo Rivera belongs to the District of Bolivia-Peru. He was born on 12 January 1993, in the city of Arequipa, Peru, and entered the Postulancy in 2010. He took his first vows in 2014. He made his perpetual profession in 2022. He has a Degree in Education, major in Linguistics and Literature, and has worked as a Literature and Religious Education teacher in Secondary schools. He has also been in charge of Sacramental Catechesis, Pastoral Coordinator and Assistant Director at colegio La Salle Santa Cruz (Bolivia), and has served in the initial formation of the Brothers.
He is currently the Chair of the Commission on Youth and Vocations, is a member of the Council of Lasallian Association and Mission in his District, and is a member of the Institute’s Standing Committee of Young Brothers.
